BUSY SATURDAY AHEAD
Tomorrow looks like being a busy day for our stables and all going well it could be a profitable day. For the first time in quite a long time we head to the races with six runners and from my assessment of them, thy all have a chance of picking up some prizemoney.
We start off the day with the last start first up winner LACIE in race two followed by another last start winner TERADA in race four. Both horses have trained on well since they won and both should be hard to beat again tomorrow.
We then have two runners in the Sires Produce with LETHAL JONES and VALLEY GIRL both set to run mighty races. VALLEY GIRL ran a very impressive race last start when running home strongly from a wide barrier to run sixth in the recent Karrakatta Plate. She delivered the fastest last 600m for the race and if she can repeat the effort she will be in the finish. LETHAL JONES may lack experience however I wouldn't underestimate him but it may be a bit early for him tomorrow.
Our next runner is the long priced runner CHIRON in the W.A. Derby. Although he is still a maiden, I would not be scared to have something each way on him tomorrow. The 2400m will suit as will the better barrier draw. If the top two chances have any chink in their armour, don't be surprised if this guy finds it.
We close the day with a newcomer to the stable, SWORD MASTER. I did train the horse for a few months a couple of years ago before the horse required surgery and a long spell. The horse ran a great race last start when we saddled him up for Esperance trainer Rod Kirkup and the horse has done well since he has been back under my care. If I can get him to repeat of his last performance we should see the horse run a nice race and finish in the money.
All in all it looks like being a busy day with little time to socialise however I am sure that a winner or two will see us have a celebratory drink later that day. Happy punting to all.
