Quiet times for next few weeks as rebuild in progress.

Since our big double at Ascot on December 2nd with GUYNO and SECRET VAULT, things have been fairly quiet here at the Luciani Stables.

That should in no way be taken to mean we are resting on our laurels. Without a genuine big race runner for races like the Railway and Perth Cup, we have been concentrating our efforts into getting our young team educated and prepared for the Autumn carnival. A lot of planning goes into having horses ready to race at specific times of the year and even more planning to make sure that the horse peaks at the right time. It doesn't just happen. In fact I can't say that I have ever won a major race as an afterthought!! Winning races like the Karrakatta Plate or W.A. Derby take months of planning.
