STRIKEN IN THE LAST STRIDE
So far so good this campaign for enigmatic galloper STRIKEN. After running a top race first up where he ran the fastest last 600m for the day, Striken once again ran a very quick last 600m to get up and beat the odds on favourite on Saturday. This was only the second career win for this galloper who has promised so much without delivering much so far. As I have said many a time about this horse, if we can get him producing in his races what he promises on the training track, I am confident he can develop into an open class horse.
My only other runner for the day SECRET VAULT proved to be very disappointing when she failed to beat a horse home at her return to racing. I had expected the filly to do a lot more as her work was first class however I am sure that we will not take long to get to work her out and get her back into winning form. Stick with her.
