She sure is a Glamour!!

Glamourzon to the rescue again.

Consistent mare Glamourzon showed her liking for the 1600m journey with another great win at Belmont on Saturday.

Glamourzon was racing third up on Saturday after having a short freshen up during mid July to early August. She was again brilliantly ridden by my son Dion, who continues to ride in top form. With a very fast pace on early, Glamourzon was able to settle well back in the field before working her way clear in the straight and getting up to win in the last few bounds.

Glamourzon is fast becoming a family favourite especially with my daughter Jessica who owns a share in the mare. Jec has been at the races for all of Glamourzon's wins and has managed to have a few dollars on her each time. With another short Eastern States trip on the horizon for Jec, the funds couldn't have come at a better time. Come to think of it, the last time Glamourzon won, Jec was heading off for a trip east as well. Maybe I should encourage her to take more trips!!!!
