SATURDAYS RUNNERS ALL RUN WELL.

Even though we left the course without a winner yesterday, I was more than happy with the performances of my horses.

Both two year olds showed promise in the opening race with AMELIA'S GLORY being a bit unlucky not to gain clear room in the straight. ASCOLI ran a game third in the second race and although it appears as though she had every opportunity, I reckon had she settled on position further forward she would have given the winner a run for his money.

In the last race FOUND AND KEPT was rolling along nicely back in the field before looking for runs on the inside of runners in the straight and being held up for quite a bit of the way. He hit the line strongly and should be hard to beat next time out. He is a horse who I feel goes a lot better when given more galloping room in the straight.

All in all I have been happy with the way the stable horses have been performing of late and I am confident that when the wheel finally does turn we will have more than our share of success over the next few months.
