Luciani Racing News

Lou Luciani is one of the most experienced horse trainers in WA. He offers owners a complete package, from selecting and buying a horse through to agistment, training and racing. He takes care of everything – from organizing horse floats to taking care of paperwork – so that owners can have as much or as little hands-on as they want.

Royale Harvest looking good

Royale Harvest nearly ready to return to Ascot.

The sole surviving member of the Amelia Park Club horses; Royale Harvest has now done nearly six weeks of pre-training and is almost ready to return to my Ascot stables.

Royale Harvest has won one race but was unlucky not to have won a few more. She was quite a gross sort of filly who needed plenty of work to bring her to her top. Hopefully, she is now fully mature and able to handle the extra workload needed to keep her fit and trim. I would imagine it will be sometime in mid to late October before we see her back on the race track.

It seems so long ago now that we set up the Amelia Park Club Syndicate and a lot has happened along the way. Although three of the six horses managed to become winners, there is no doubt that the best of them was Lock The Vault. Royale Harvest however has shown city class form and I am confident that she will develop into a city winner for us.

I am sure that all the syndicate members will all be feeling a bit lost and empty not having Occy there to fly the flag for us this carnival but hopefully "Heidi" can be an able substitute.

With a bit of luck she may even whet the appetite enough to get everyone keen and eager to be a part of next years syndications.
