OUTSIDE EDGE IN GRINDING WIN.

Underrated gallopper OUTSIDE EDGE showed by his grinding win yesterday that there will be a few more wins in store for this lightly raced horse. OUTSIDE EDGE has been a hard horse to place as he is bred to stay and has been a bit of a late developer both physically and mentally.
After winning at Ascot over 1800m earlier this year, the horse had a few more runs before having a good winter spell. The horse had only had three runs this preparation before stepping up to the 2200m of yesterdays race. A solid pace all the way ensured it was going to be a real staying test and I was over the moon with how this horse just kept on coming in the straight.
I know it is a long way off yet, but providing he can remain sound, this horse has the ability to develop into a handy "Cups" type over the next few years.
