GOOD DAY AT BUNBURY
We went to Bunbury yesterday with three runners which were all some chance of finishing in the money. We left with a winner, a second and one unlucky unplaced starter. If I could have that record every time I went to the races I would be more than satisfied.
CANNY TOUCH broke through for an overdue win in the second race, a maiden over 1200m. While only being lightly raced, he has had a few chances in the past so it was good to see him get over the line yesterday. In race two we started newcomer PACK YOUR BAGS, a filly by O'reilly. The filly ran a mighty race to be beaten by the odds on pop and I am confident that she will improve heaps from the run.
KLASY SPY has shown city class potential in the past and even though he has run some nice races in town he seems to find a lot of bad luck in his races brought about mainly by his own racing manners. We will give him a few weeks on the easy list before we take him back to the races. I am sure that once he finds the winning post, he is capable of putting a few wins together.
