BELMONT TREBLE FOR TEAM LUCIANI!!!

"TEAM LUCIANI" as the media appear to have labeled us lately had a day out at Belmont last Wednesday when we took four horses to the races and won with three of them. TERADA showed the benefit of a good first up run when he was well ridden by Clint Harvey to score a very impressive win. The win suggests that there may be a few more in store for him.It was especially pleasing to have Clint Harvey ride his first winner for the stables. Clint has ridden work for me for quite a while yet every time we have had a winner ready for him he has managed to get suspended only to watch someone else go out and win the race on the horse he should be riding. To his credit Clint has hung in there and I am happy to have him on board my horses.

CAMPOBELLO showed by his gutsy win over 2000m that he too has ha bright future ahead of him in staying races especially during the winter months. The horse was racing second up and travelled wide throughout from his wide barrier. He is still very immature mentally and will continue to improve with age.

The final leg of the treble was brought up by COLD COMMAND. This little guy is a bit of a stable favourite. Not because he is any champion but purely because of his attitude and his all round character. A lesser horse would have been retired a long time ago with the problems that this horse has however he is such a competitor, he just loves to be there on race day. I would love to see him win a Saturday race. I have said quite often that he has Saturday class ability who is lucky to be racing.
