TWO RUNNERS AT ASCOT TODAY

A reletively quiet day at Ascot today with only two runners for the afternoon. We start off with smart filly OUTSIDE INFLUENCE in race two and then SNOOKIE THE BOOKIE in race three.

Outside influence is racing first up and has shown in the past that she has a liking for the short course races and has run some nice races in the past. She has drawn well today and should be one of the main chances in a fairly open race.

SNOOKIE THE BOOKIE has failed to regain her consistent form of previous preparations and we have opted to go with blinkers on the mare today to try and get her back into some decent form. At her best I have no doubt that she would be more than competetive in this field.

We look like having a bit busier time on Saturday with a couple of runners in the two year old race as well as the three year old 1820m race. We will know more about exactly who will run a bit latter in the day.
