TWO FOR BELMONT TODAY
It will be a case of getting in and out early at Belmont today with only two runners. We start the day off with LA COUREUSE in the first race, a two year old handicap over 1200m. The way this filly ran on last start would suggest that she is going to take some beating today. Her wide barrier is the biggest hurdle for her.
In race two I have LEITMOTIF starting first up. This filly was originally trained in South Australia by David Hayes however she has failed to live up to expectations and has found her way over to the west. I have had a lot of success with the rest of her family and I hope we can turn her form around. The filly has a tendency to go fairly hard in her work so hopefully we have settled her down enough to help her run a nice race. The rest of her family have been fairly casuall animals who have been able to really finish off their races.
Happy punting.
